Welcoming 314 Oasis to the Build Missouri Health Family
Build Missouri Health is proud to welcome 314 Oasis as one of our newest fiscally sponsored partners. They join our sponsored projects and organizations, including: Green City Coalition, Vested Urban Farms, St. Louis Equal Housing and Community Reinvestment Alliance, St. Louis Regional Financial Empowerment Coalition and Nurture Birth & Health.
314 Oasis is a climate resilience hub dedicated to responding to extreme weather, food insecurity, toxic exposure, and trauma through community-centered, non-institutional care. In the wake of the May 16 tornado, the organization is serving North St. Louis neighborhoods that were deeply impacted, offering support and resources that meet families where they are.
Through our fiscal sponsorship service, Build Missouri Health provides infrastructure that allows grassroots organizations like 314 Oasis to focus on their mission while receiving charitable contributions and meeting funder requirements. This partnership ensures that emerging solutions to Missouri’s most pressing health and equity challenges have the support they need to take root and grow.
“The 314 Oasis exists to meet the urgent needs of those affected by climate trauma with a holistic model of community care” said Stephanie Reynolds, Co-steward of 314 Oasis. “In moments of crisis, PRESENCE is the medicine. Partnering with Build Missouri Health means we can direct our energy to serving people on the ground and being present to their needs while having trusted support to sustain and expand our work.”
For Build Missouri Health, fiscal sponsorship is a tool for amplifying innovation and nurturing community-led responses.
“314 Oasis is meeting an urgent need in North St. Louis with creativity, care, and community leadership,” said Jasmine Hall Ratliff, Executive Director of Build Missouri Health. “We are honored to support their vision and to walk alongside them as they bring new approaches to climate resilience and health equity.”
We’re excited to see the impact 314 Oasis will have as it builds resilience and healing in the face of crisis. Please join us in welcoming them to the Build Missouri Health family.
